PayPoint Romania introduces a new service: Voyo subscriptions

Bucharest, 26 November 2012 – A new subscription service is available on PayPoint terminals in neighbourhood stores in Romania from this month: Voyo, the subscription and pay-per-view video content service. This partnership with PRO TV SA is an important addition to PayPoint Romania’s portfolio of clients, which include telecommunications, utilities and financial services companies. Voyo subscriptions offer unlimited legal access to approximately 700 box-office movies and successful serials, exclusive sport transmissions, concerts and PRO TV channels’ shows, many of them with live broadcasting. “We are always looking to respond to the needs of our customers so we are pleased that we can now offer them the opportunity to pay for watching their favourite movies, serials and TV shows on voyo.ro at the same time that they are paying for their utilities, telecommunication and cable services and financial/banking services. We are confident that Voyo’s customers will rapidly adopt payment through PayPoint terminals,” said Mugur Dogariu, Managing Director of PayPoint Romania. Paying the subscription through the PayPoint system is simple, convenient and secure. The Voyo customer just goes to one of the 6,800 supermarkets, minimarkets and PayPoint branded neighbourhood stores all over the country, tells the shop assistant what kind of Voyo subscription he or she wants to pay for, hands over the cash and they will receive a voucher with a secret code, printed on the PayPoint terminal. For activation, the consumer goes to www.voyo.ro, clicks on “I want Voyo”, chooses the method of paying through voucher, then types in the code so they can now view the programmes and shows on Voyo.
