BGS Group widens bill payments service with PayPoint Romania to include two further businesses

Bucharest – 25 February, 2015: Following the success of enabling customers of its security division, BGS Divizia de Securitate, to pay their bills at PayPoint Romania, the main retail-based cash and mobile payment operator in Romania, BGS Group has extended the facility to BGS Monitorizare-Interventii (Surveilance-Intervention) and BGS Tehnic (Technical). As a result, customers of BGS Monitorizare-Interventii and BGS Tehnic will be able to discover the benefits that millions of other PayPoint customers already enjoy by paying their bills in a quick, convenient and secure way. Paying bills issued by the two companies is extremely easy: the customer simply takes their bill to the nearest shop with a PayPoint terminal, where the shop assistant will scan the barcode printed on the bill, take the customer’s cash payment and give the customer a receipt with the details of the transaction (date, amount, location etc). Paying through PayPoint is quick, safe and free. “When we signed the original agreement with BGS, we were very confident that the advantages of our system would be appreciated by those who see the value in a more efficient way of paying their bills. We’re very happy to announce the development of this partnership because it shows, once more, the trust that customers have in PayPoint and the quality of the services we offer to both consumers and the companies that supply them with goods and services,” said Mugur Dogariu, Managing Director of PayPoint Romania. “We entered into partnership with PayPoint as a way to save our customers time. We’re sure our customers will appreciate it,” added a spokesperson for BGS Group. This latest agreement extends the range of bills that can be paid through PayPoint in stores throughout the country. Along with the services provided by BGS, PayPoint enables consumers to make a wide variety of payments, including for their road tax, utilities, mobile phone plans, internet and cable TV.
