Mioveni residents are now able to pay for their water at PayPoint

Bucharest, 25 February 2015 – PayPoint Romania, the main retail-based cash and mobile payment operator in Romania, and the local water and sewerage supplier, Servicii Edilitare pentru Comunitate Mioveni, have joined forces to enable residents of the city of Mioveni to pay their water bills at neighbourhood shops in the PayPoint network. Paying bills at PayPoint is simple, quick and convenient. The customer simply visits the nearest store with a PayPoint terminal, where they either tell the shop assistant their customer identification number to enter into the terminal manually or give them the bill for its barcode to be scanned. The customer pays in cash and receives a receipt with all the transaction’s details (date, amount, location, supplier etc). The whole process is very quick, secure and considerably reduces the time needed to spend paying bills at no extra cost for the consumer. “Adding Servicii Edilitare pentru Comunitate Mioveni to our client portfolio enables us to simplify the lives of the residents of Arges County. In addition to paying the bills issued by Servicii Edilitare pentru Comunitate Mioveni, the county’s residents are also able to pay bills for gas, electricity, mobile phone plans, internet or cable TV through PayPoint’s terminals, as well as pay for their road tax, top up their prepaid mobile phone and even transfer money, both internally and internationally, at select PayPoint locations.
