PayPoint Romania Announces Agreement with Infinity
Bucharest, 21 October 2015 –PayPoint Romania, the main retail-based cash and mobile payment operator in Romania and Infinity have announced a new partnership. With this new agreement, PayPoint Romania is expanding its portfolio of companies operating in the direct sales industry. Infinity, a wholly-owned Romanian company that specialises in direct sales (MLM), began its mission to satisfy its customers’ needs in 2005. The company focused on understanding their individual needs and, for the past 10 years, developed a vast portfolio that, today, features more than 5,000 products of the greatest quality, manufactured domestically as well as imported exclusively from Europe and Asia. Infinity’s mission is to always be there for its representatives, through special offers and a permanent improvement of its services. The agreement is aimed at Infinity’s representatives who will now be able to pay bills, for the orders they place, at any one of PayPoint’s 9,200-plus partner stores country-wide. To make a payment, the Infinity representative must take the bill to the nearest PayPoint store where the attendant scans the bill’s bar code and the transaction is processed quickly. The Infinity representative pays in cash and receives a receipt with all the details of the transaction (date, amount, supplier etc.). “This new partnership is part of PayPoint’s strategy to offer a wide array of payments to our consumers and the expansion into the direct sales industry helps us achieve that objective. We believe Infinity’s representatives will enjoy the benefits of PayPoint’s system, because it allows them to pay more bills at once, in a simple and convenient way, especially since many of our partner stores have long hours and they are also open at weekends”, said Mugur Dogariu, Managing Director PayPoint Romania. “We’re keen on offering our representatives a payment solution that is always close to them and suits their lifestyle, and PayPoint met all of our needs. Our partners now have a payment solution that is convenient and quick, and PayPoint’s network of terminals, spread throughout Romania, is an advantage, especially for Infinity’s distributors in rural areas”, declared Madalina Bonifate, General Manager Infinity. Along with paying their Infinity bill, representatives are also able to use PayPoint terminals to pay bills for utilities (electricity, gas, water, sanitation), mobile phone plans, internet or cable TV and pay for their road tax, as well as buy mobile phone top-ups and airplane tickets, pay for security services, repay loans and even transfer money, both internally and internationally, at selected PayPoint locations.
